Design Fees

There is a lot of confusion around what Interior Designers do, and how they charge their clients. To help you through his process we offer an initial consultation free of charge and with no obligation. During this time we will be able to discuss what you would like to achieve and will explain how our services could help you, as well as clearly explain what it will cost. We can work to any budget and provide services from a simple consultation to a full renovation.

Our fees are dependent upon the size and complexity of the project you wish us to undertake, but broadly speaking are based upon an initial design fee with additional sourcing & design charged at an hourly rate.

    Full Design Service

For the basic design fee we will provide you with:
  • A site survey
  • Mood boards, which gives you a flavour of how the room will look with each design
  • Presentation of the design ideas to include fabric, flooring, lighting & wall samples
  • Accompanying you to see fabrics at the showroom if required
  • Repeat visits to your home as necessary, to hone the design to your exact  liking.
The fee will vary according to the size and complexity of the room, but as a guide an average living room will cost £290*.


                Interior design help

If you have a problem with a particular room or the general layout of your house or office etc, don't worry – you don't have to have a full design done. We can come out to see you and discuss designs, colours, layout, lighting, etc – whatever you need. We offer consultations giving guidance and expert advice at our hourly rate of £30* rather than a full design fee. (Initial minimum cost is £50 for the first hour and £30 per hour thereafter)

    Project Management

If you don't wish to implement the design yourself we can arrange all this for you. A full project management service is available and is charged at a percentage of the contract value, dependent upon the size of the contract.

   Colour consultations

Silver package-  1 hour consultation:

Would you like some help with pulling a room colour scheme together?
Perhaps you have an existing piece of furniture, pair of curtains, or particular piece of artwork that you would like to fit it around, but aren't entirely confident about what colours would work or just want some reassurance on what you have chosen. We can guide you safely around this, giving you ideas for paint colours and wallpaper styles that would fit to give you the image you are after.

Gold Package- detailed consultation + samples 

This will suit you whether you have some idea about what you are after or no idea at all. If you need to fit in some existing furniture or colours or have the luxury of being able to start afresh with a blank canvas the gold package will make sure you finish up with a comprehensive scheme that is well designed.

We will provide you ideas with ideas for paint colours, wallpapers & fabric samples that would work together giving you a scheme that you can feel confident and excited about.

We will visit you initially to find out what you would like and then come back with samples and colours to suit.  Easy!

     Now at a Special Offer of just £149*
* for local consultations. Consultations outside of a 15 mile radius from Gillingham, Dorset will incur reasonable travel costs.


   Sourcing

If you would like us to find furniture, art, and all the trimmings that pull a design scheme together and make it look complete we are happy to do this for you. Sourcing is charged at an hourly rate of £30.
